Salsa & Agena Privacy Policy

Salsa & Agena uses this mobile app to let customers browse the menu, place pickup orders, receive order updates, and contact the restaurant.

Data We Collect

We may collect:

• Phone number, used for sign-in and order identification.
• Display name, used to personalize orders.
• Order details, including cart items, notes, order status, totals, and timestamps.
• Push notification token, used only to send order status updates when notifications are enabled.
• Language preference, stored locally on the device.

How We Use Data

We use customer data to:

• Sign customers in and connect orders to the correct customer.
• Send pickup orders to the restaurant.
• Show order status and order history.
• Send order update notifications.
• Provide support and respond to customer requests.
• Improve reliability and protect the service from abuse.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect precise GPS location.
• We do not process card payments in the app. Payment is handled at pickup.
• We do not sell personal data.

Service Providers

The app may use Firebase for authentication and push notifications, and Supabase for database and order storage. Apple or Google services may also process data required for app operation, device notifications, and app distribution.

Data Sharing

We do not sell customer data. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the app, authenticate users, store orders, send notifications, or provide support.

Account Deletion

Customers can request account deletion using the account deletion page or by contacting the restaurant.

After verifying the request, Salsa & Agena will delete or anonymize the customer profile, push notification token, and personal identifiers connected to the account. Order records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or operational obligations.

Demo Mode

The app includes a reviewer/demo mode. Demo mode uses sample data only and does not create a real customer account or send real restaurant orders.
